1Simple Home Savings Account Disclosure: A minimum deposit of $10 is required to open the account. The minimum balance required to obtain the Annual Percentage Yield is $0.01. Interest is paid on balances up to $50,000; balances exceeding $50,000 do not earn interest. The Simple Home Savings account is available to residents of Massachusetts and Connecticut only. This account is intended to help customers save toward a first-time home purchase. Limit one account per person.
2Mortgage Closing Cost Credit Disclosure: Account holders may earn a stackable PeoplesBank mortgage closing cost credit of up to $2,000. Credits are earned as follows: $500 after 180 days of account opening; $100 on the first anniversary of account opening and each subsequent anniversary until the $2,000 maximum is reached; $100 for obtaining a PeoplesBank mortgage prequalification; and $50 for completing a First Time Homebuyer Course. Only one prequalification credit and one First Time Homebuyer Course credit are available per account. Credits may be combined but will not exceed $2,000. Credits are valid only toward eligible PeoplesBank mortgage loans and are not valid for home equity loans or home equity lines of credit. Additional terms and eligibility requirements may apply.
