PEOPLESBANK, Holyoke, Massachusetts, has petitioned the Massachusetts Division of Banks for permission to close a branch office at 825 Hampden Street, Holyoke, Massachusetts 01040 and a branch office at 596 South Street, Holyoke, Massachusetts 01040 (the “Branches”). Any objections or comments relative to this proposal must be communicated in writing to the Commissioner of Banks, Mary L. Gallagher, 1000 Washington Street, 10th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts 02118-6400 no later than two weeks from May 31, 2019.

Any objections or comments relative to this proposal may also be communicated in writing to John Vogel, Regional Director for the Boston Area Office, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, 15 Braintree Hill Office Park, Braintree, Massachusetts 02184-8701. Any objections or comments on the proposed Branch closings may be mailed to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at that address. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation does not have the authority to approve or prevent the Branch closings.

The proposed closing date of the Branches is August 31, 2019. Following the closing of the two Branches, customers may visit PeoplesBank’s new branch office located at 1864-1866 Northampton St., Holyoke, Massachusetts 01040 to be opened on September 3, 2019, or PeoplesBank’s other branch location at 314 High Street in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
