Free Seminar To Help Businesses Prevent Theft, Fraud and Cyberattacks
HOLYOKE, MA (October 5, 2016) – PeoplesBank will host a panel of experts who will advise business leaders on “Best Practices in Protecting your Business Assets.” The seminar is free but registration is required as space is limited. A representative from the FBI will be joined by:
Josephine Sarnelli, CPA
A self-employed forensic investigator and consultant. Her experience dates back to heading up the internal audit function for a large vertically integrated company. She has investigated white collar crime at manufacturers, retailers, municipalities and not-for-profit organizations. She also teaches Fraud Investigation in the graduate program at Westfield State University.
Larry Snyder, PhD
With nearly two decades of experience in law enforcement, fraud and auditing in the US Army and a variety of industries, and nine years as a pioneer in the field of cybersecurity education, Larry Snyder brings a wealth of experience in the cyber security environment. He is currently the director for the Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management at Bay Path University. Professor Snyder was instrumental in developing the cybersecurity program for the State University of New York’s Herkimer County Community College, one of the first cyber-crime programs in New York State. His background also includes positions in major United States banks as a manager of fraud operations and senior information systems auditor. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, IEEE Computer Society, Comptia Academic Alliance, InfraGard, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
Matt Judd, CISSP, CISM
Cyber Security Officer for PeoplesBank in Holyoke, MA with 15 years of Information Technology experience, the majority in banking. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Western New England University and a Master of Science Degree in Communications and Information Management from Bay Path University. He holds several certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
