Doug joined PeoplesBank in 1975 and was elected Chief Executive Officer in 2008. He is a graduate of Salem State College (B.S. Business Administration); Western New England College (M.B.A Finance); National School of Finance and Management at Fairfield University; and Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College. Doug has over 35 years of financial services experience. He serves the community in the following ways: Trustee of Holyoke Community College; Trustee of Pioneer Valley Plan for Progress; Director for Economic Development Council of Western Mass; Director for Loomis Communities; and Director for Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce. Doug has been selected as a Top Innovator by the Boston Globe, Business Person of the Year by the Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, Difference Maker by BusinessWest, and a Jones Fellow for Dedicated Humanitarian Services by the Lions Club International.
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Tom has been with PeoplesBank for 12 years and has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of Management (B.S. Business Administration) and is a Certified Public Accountant. Tom serves as a Director of the Holyoke Community College Foundation; as a member of the Finance and Audit Committee for the Holyoke Community College Foundation; and as a board member of Loomis Communities, Inc.; and member of the Finance Committee for Loomis Communities, Inc.
Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer
Ken has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry and started at PeoplesBank in 1999. He holds a Master’s Degree from Niagara University and a Master’s Degree from Springfield College. Ken is involved in the community by serving in the following roles: Director for The Care Center - Community Adolescent Resource & Education Center, Inc.; Director for Westmass Area Development Corp.; and Trustee for The Springfield Symphony Orchestra.
Executive Vice President - Commercial Banking
Mike has 30 years of banking experience and joined PeoplesBank in 2011. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI and earned a Master’s of Business Administration at Western New England University, in Springfield, MA. Mike is the president of the Springfield Technical Community College Foundation, and was previously affiliated with the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, the Service League of Western Massachusetts, and the Westfield State College Foundation Board.
Senior Vice President - Operations
Starting at PeoplesBank in 1985, Jackie has over 25 years of experience. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College (B.A. Economics); University of Massachusetts (M.B.A.); Babson College (MassBankers School of Financial Studies); Villanova University (Masters Certificate in Lean Six Sigma); and Dartmouth College (Tuck School of Business – Leadership Program). Jackie gives back to the community by serving on the Board of Directors at the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, and as a member on the following: Investment and Finance Committe for the Food Bank of Western Massachusets; Community & Economic Development Council for the Town of South Hadley; and COCC Strategic Development Council.
Senior Vice President - Retail
Sheila has over 20 years of banking experience and joined PeoplesBank in 2005. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina (B.A.), and is currently working on her Masters of Business Administration degree at Assumption College in Worcester. She serves on the Board of Directors at the River Valley Counseling Center; is a Corporator for the Worcester Ecotarium; and serves on the Boards of the Massachusetts Fair Housing Center and the STCC Foundation & Alumni.
Senior Vice President - Human Resources
Janice has over twenty years of human resource management experience and joined PeoplesBank in 2005. She is a graduate of America’s Community Bankers National School of Banking at Fairfield University and holds a Master’s Degree from Cambridge College. She serves on the board of the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ); formally served as Vice President of the Board of Girls, Inc. of Holyoke; and is an active member in the Northeast Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
