Anniversary Greetings!

Since our first deposit in 1885, PeoplesBank has measured success not only by our financial performance, but also by our commitment and support for the people and communities we serve. As we celebrate our 125th anniversary, I would like to thank the 240 dedicated employees who have helped make us the leading community bank in the region.

Recently, the Boston Business Journal named PeoplesBank second in the state for volunteer hours contributed, eighth on the list of most generous employees, and one of the top corporate charitable contributors in the state.

We are committed to protecting the environment and received the city of Springfield's first GreenSeal for opening our first LEED registered office.

It is remarkable to be able to say we have been around for 125 years, but it is a privilege to be able to say that the organization and our employees are recognized for their generosity and commitment to protecting the environment. As the President of PeoplesBank, I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization that 125 years ago formed as a mutual savings bank. As a mutually chartered bank, we are driven by the needs of our customers, our employees, and the cities and towns of the Pioneer Valley.
